The Shadow Boy
In all the darkness that is in his room a light came from outside.
He covers himself, trying to escape from that light. He doesn't understand what is happening in the light, but he fears it.
The door of his room opens, the light stays outside but the noise enters. A man and a woman stay one in each side of his bed.
They are not saying anything, but every word unspoken is pounding the little boy's head.
He almost starts to cry, but he holds on.
He carries the burden on, the child. They all blame him, they might not say it yet, but he feels in their eyes.
The boy spoke, the man and woman leave the room. Later, years later, the boy saw the light again.
This time the boy raised and went to the light. Standing behind an open door he ears it, the unwanted declaration.
The boy went down the darkness, the warm and sweet to him darkness.
Later, and several times, he sees the light again. The light now always comes with screams. He tried to reach the light from time to time, he tried to live with her in peace, but the man and women attacked the boy.
Until one day...
One day the light came to his bedroom, and the man, the women and the noise too.
The boy left that place and never came back. The woman left, the man too. The Light?
The boy from time to time pays a visit to the man, and woman. The light, from time to time appear in that visitations at the same time. Some times, the light comes to the boy.
The boy stays in the shadow, his sweet and warm shadow. He, now, doesn't fear the light but prefers no to see it.
The man usually has the light by company because is too weak to turn it off.
The woman thinks she is not with the light, because she is too scared to admit that she turned it on too.
The man and the woman, one too weak to turn off the other too scared to help.
One seeing the light has a problem but without force to shut it off. The other, thinking not to bee in the light, blames the light, the man and boy.
So much light and they don't see...or don't want to.
The boy, the burden carrier.
